DESCRIPTION:Town of Grant \nNotice of Public Hearing \nNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held by the Town of Grant Town Board on: \nWednesday October 21\, 2026 at 6:00 P.M. \nTown of Grant Town Hall\, 9011 County Road WW\, Wisconsin Rapids\, WI 54494 \nComprehensive Plan update \nThe purpose of the Public Hearing is to receive comments regarding the proposed amendment to the Town of Grant Comprehensive Plan\, per Wis. Stat. 66.1001(4)(d). \nThe proposed amendment updates Table 9.1 Town of Grant Zoning/Land Use Plan Compatibility Table to add a new floating zoning district Industrial 2 Data Center.  This will be used in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance to regulate future development in the Town of Grant. \nInformation regarding the proposed comprehensive plan amendment is available for viewing at the Town Hall\, 9011 County Road WW\, Wisconsin Rapids\, WI 54494. Additionally\, draft plan documents are also available for download at the Town’s website: Table 9.1 Proposed Changes \nAll interested parties are invited to attend said hearing and be heard. DESCRIPTION:2026 General Election Information\n\n\nThe 2026 General Election will be held on Tuesday\, November 3rd\, 2026. All polling places will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. \nVoters can find their polling place and view additional election information at MyVote.wi.gov. \n2026 General Election Sample Ballot \n2026 General Election Notice of Referendum Election \nVote Absentee by Mail\nAny qualified elector who is unable or unwilling to appear at the polling place on Election Day may submit a request to vote an absentee ballot to their municipal clerk.  A qualified elector is any U.S. citizen who: \n\nwill be 18 years of age or older on Election Day.\nhas resided in the ward or municipality where they wish to vote for at least 28 consecutive days before the election.\n\nThe elector must also be registered to vote to receive an absentee ballot.  Proof of identification must be provided before an absentee ballot may be issued*. \nMaking application to receive an absentee ballot by mail \nContact your municipal clerk and request that an application for an absentee ballot be sent to you for the primary or election or both.  You may make written application to your municipal clerk for an absentee ballot by mail\, by fax\, by email or at MyVote.wi.gov. Or you may apply in person at the clerk’s office during the In-Person Absentee Voting period listed below. \nYour written request must include: \n\nyour voting address within the municipality where you wish to vote\nthe address where the absentee ballot should be sent\, if different from the address above\nyour signature\na copy of your photo identification*\n\nThe deadline for making application to receive an absentee ballot by mail is: \n5:00 p.m. on the fifth day before the election\, October 29th\, 2026 \n*Voters who are indefinitely confined due to age\, illness\, infirmity\, or disability may not be required to provide photo ID.
