DESCRIPTION:Invasive Species Regulations Update\nThe Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has announced the opening of the public comment period for the draft rule language associated with proposed revisions to ch. NR 40\, Wisconsin’s Invasive Species Rule. The department will also be holding a public hearing on the proposed rule on Wednesday\, Aug. 5 at 5 p.m.  \nVisit the department’s website to access the draft rule\, an updated economic impact analysis and supplemental Rule Revision Guide. Details on the hearing and how to submit comments can be found in the hearing notice.  \nThe department will be accepting public comments through Aug. 7\, 2026.
