Weekly News Blast: The Plan Commission (PC) met this week to continue their work on revisions to the Zoning Ordinance. On the agenda the commissioners considered the following:
Previously recommended parcels for rezone and subsequent zoning map update
Board of Appeals – purpose, powers, and conduct
Private burial sites (yes, per state statutes you and yours can be buried on your property, with conditions)
Flower and Vegetable plant sales in general agriculture
The PC is inching ever closer to concluding their revisions to the Ordinance. Once completed it will be considered by the Town Board. Thanks are extended to Chair Jodi Lomma and Secretary Kathy Lee for their research into the mentioned agenda items.
Public Works employees were busy this week cutting up trees that had fallen onto roads, patching, and grading. Our thanks to them.
After a recurrence of winter, it looks like spring might reappear next week. Enjoy the long weekend and stay safe. Sharon
