CTH WW Bridge Replacement: Project Description: The CTH WW Structure Replacement project will consist of replacing the current structure over the Four Mile Creek in the Town of Grant with a new bridge structure, guardrail, pavement structure, and drainage along the work area. The bridge replacement was selected for funding under the Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s Local Bridge Program. The existing bridge was structurally deficient and functionally obsolete. The project will include a new two-span concrete bridge, which will improve structural, operational, hydraulic, and safety deficiencies. The clear width will also be improved and widened to 30 feet over the structure. CTH WW will be closed to through traffic throughout construction. Access will be provided to adjacent residences and businesses as well as emergency vehicles during construction, but all other traffic shall utilize the detour that will be posted along CTH U to CTH W to CTH F. The project is scheduled to be completed in late October.
