Weekly News Blast: It was a busy few days for several of our public work crew after a surprise storm hit our community and others around Central Wisconsin. A lot of trees fell onto the roads and yards, and cleanup has been ongoing since the storms ended Monday afternoon. I would like to give a shout out to the people in our community who helped move trees off the roads so people could travel safely. One resident I talked to, Eldred Getzloff, was moving a huge tree that was blocking Griffith Ave. He took his tractor and moved a huge tree off the road so people could pass. The public works employees who deserve a special shout out are Jim Yetter, Jerry Reinwand and Garry Saeger. Jim and Jerry worked until almost 11:00 PM on Monday as what started out as one tree and then another and another until they were cutting and removing them all evening long. On Tuesday more trees were found, so Jim and Garry were busy all morning and then had to come back in again after 4 PM to cut some more. A special and huge thank you to them and all the people that worked to clean up the mess. When you see our public workers, thank them for the long hours spent on getting our roads cleared up.  Supervisor Doug Steltenpohl
