Public Hearing Regarding Comprehensive Plan Amendment: Public Hearing Regarding Comprehensive Plan Amendment Town of Grant Notice of Public Hearing Comprehensive Plan Amendment NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held by the Town of Grant Town Board on: Tuesday, August 18th, 2026 6:00 P.M. Town of Grant Town Hall, 9011 County Road WW, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54494 The purpose of the Public Hearing is to receive comments regarding the proposed amendment to the Town of Grant Comprehensive Plan, per Wis. Stat. 66.1001(4)(d). The amendments provide an updated Solar Overlay map and text. The boundary of the Vista Sands Solar project is being added to the map, and an outdated status of the project is being removed from the text. The changes will help guide the future growth and development in the Town of Grant. Information regarding the proposed comprehensive plan amendment is available for viewing at the Town Hall, 9011 County Road WW, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54494. Additionally, draft plan documents are also available for download at the Town’s website: https://townofgrant-portage.wi.gov. Written comments can be submitted to the Town Clerk prior to the meeting and shall become part of the record.
