Weekly Blast!: Sometime between my last Weekly Blast and this past Monday someone (likely several) stole the large wooden panel (pic) from the Buena Vista Wildlife Area historical kiosk located just east of the junction of County Roads F and W. This beautiful panel (and the other with the prairie scene on the opposite side) were recently restored by students at UW-Stevens Point with funds donated to the family in memory of Greg Dahl, WDNR Wildlife Supervisor. This theft has been devastating to the family and the talented young students who spent months restoring this beautiful mural depicting one of the most unique wildlife species in the State of Wisconsin.
