Weekly News Blast: The beloved comedian Robin Williams once said, “Real loss is only possible when you love something more than you love yourself”. In the past week, our beloved Treasurer Greg Hakala and Clerk Stefanie Schlapa have experienced personal tragedy over the loss of a wife and father, respectively. There are two residents in this town who continue to be relentless in their pursuit of these officers’ patience and time. I kindly ask them, who think only of themselves, and not these kind, loyal and professional public servants, to simply lay off. Give our officers time to process their personal lives and loves – allowing them the opportunity to adjust to their new reality now missing such integral parts. I kindly ask for your consideration. Thank you, Sharon
