Weekly News Blast: What a busy week! Since starting just a few weeks ago our town crew has joint and crack-sealed the following sections of road: Washington (CTH U – 90th), Lake Road (CTH U – 90th), Quarry Road (CTH U – 90th), Evergreen Road (CTH U – close to 90th), 87th Street cul-de-sac south of Lake Road; 88th St. (South Park – Lake Road). WOW! Zblewski Brothers were busy at the Transfer Station this week grinding the mountain of brush that had accumulated over the past year. The ground material was then hauled to Mosinee to be used as biofuel – another gain for recycling. YEAH! Finally Red Run removed the failed culvert on 90th Street just south of CTH W and installed a new poly-coated 55” diameter culvert. Thanks are extended to Supervisor Scott Provost who led this vital replacement, did all the calculations, and shot the elevations to ensure that this work will not need to be repeated for a least a couple generations. SUPER! Be careful in the hot weather slated for this weekend. Take care, Sharon
