Weekly News Blast: Tomorrow is our annual Tire Day and Choose to Reuse Event. The latter is a “free cycle” program. Bring any useable item that you can no longer use but you think someone else can (think free rummage sale). Tires of all sizes are accepted for a fee and there is no limit to the # of tires. Hopefully, everyone received a bright yellow postcard with the prices. Hope to see you tomorrow! Thanks are extended this week to Jerry Reinwand for completing road sweeping, Steve Dobeck who started grading, and Garry Saeger and Supervisor Doug Steltenpohl for partially completing the spring road inspections. The Spring newsletter was completed this week and sent to the printer. Expect one in your mailbox in a week or so. The Plan Commission met this week, finished its revisions to the Zoning Ordinance, and resumed work on the Sign Ordinance. Treasurer Greg Hakala reported that the Town received $2,294.89 from the 2023 Recycling Grant that Clerk Stefanie Schlapa recently completed. Everyone is keeping busy, that’s for sure… Enjoy the beautiful weather, Sharon
