Weekly News Blast: The Plan Commission met this week and continued their work on a draft Sign Ordinance. Once completed it will be a stand-alone document rather than imbedded in the Zoning Ordinance. Thanks are extended to Plan Commissioner Tom Reitter and Secretary Kathy Lee who have spent a lot of time reconfiguring the text. Once completed the Plan Commissioners think it will be easy to read and use for anyone that desires a permanent or temporary sign(s) in the Town. The big news this week was all the construction work on the 95th and 100th Street bridges. Those closest heard the pile driving. Today the bridge pours occurred on both sites (pics above and below). It’s great to see the unimpeded flow of the Four Mile Creek from 110th (our 2023 project) to 95th now. What a difference! If I were a trout I think I’d be happy. Earth Inc. brought in loads of smaller gravel to top dress Buena Vista Road (CTH F/120th – 130th) this week. Thanks to Dan DeBour of Earth and our grader operator Steve Dobeck who helped to finish out this project. American Asphalt will begin grinding Pine Street (CTH U/80th – 90th) either Monday or Tuesday next week. That’s our last big project for the year. Patching will continue as long as the weather remains warm, and material is still available. Summer is still with us. Enjoy the weekend, Sharon   100th Street   95th Street   Click for Video of Pile Driving on 95th
