NOTICE: Town Board Meeting: Notice is hereby given that the Town of Grant Town Board will hold a meeting for the Town of Grant, in the County of Portage, State of Wisconsin, for the transaction of business permitted to be transacted at such meeting. The meeting will be held at the Grant Town Hall, 9011 CTH WW, Wisconsin Rapids, WI on Wednesday, May 13th, 2026 at 6:00PM. 6:30 PM Public Hearing: Conditional Use Permit request from Jared Repinski to build an accessory building greater than 3500 sq. ft. to be used for storage on property zoned Low Density Residential located at 8121 State Highway 54. The WI DNR is tentatively planning on burning on Buena Vista Wildlife Area in the Town of Grant, today 4/24..
The units is located at the SW corner of County Rd F and Tower road, with the winds forecasted we will put smoke on Tower Road, DNR cannot close roads but hope to have limited public travel, for safety of the public and staff. Most impact to Tower road may occur around 1pm- 4 pm. See map attached.
