Weekly Blast!: Sometime between my last Weekly Blast and this past Monday someone (likely several) stole the large wooden panel (pic) from the Buena Vista Wildlife Area historical kiosk located just east of the junction of County Roads F and W. This beautiful panel (and the other with the prairie scene on the opposite side) were recently restored by students at UW-Stevens Point with funds donated to the family in memory of Greg Dahl, WDNR Wildlife Supervisor. This theft has been devastating to the family and the talented young students who spent months restoring this beautiful mural depicting one of the most unique wildlife species in the State of Wisconsin. The Plan Commissioners met this week to consider extended public input regarding revisions to our Zoning Ordinance. Led by Chair Jodi Lomma the commissioners were able complete review of input and are now closer to presenting those final revisions for consideration.

A large 40” culvert on 90^th just south of CTH W has failed. Now the west side of the road is giving way where a hole has developed (pic). We have installed traffic drums and signage restricting passage just to the east side of the road (pic). The board will consider an emergency resolution to replace this culvert as soon as possible. In the interim please use caution when traveling this section of road. Thank you.
