NOTICE: Town Board Meeting: Notice is hereby given that the Town of Grant Town Board will hold a meeting for the Town of Grant, in the County of Portage, State of Wisconsin, for the transaction of business permitted to be transacted at such meeting.  The meeting will be held at the Grant Town Hall, 9011 CTH WW, Wisconsin Rapids, WI on Wednesday, September 16th, 2026 at 6:00PM. The agenda can be found on the Agendas & Minutes page.

NOTICE: Icy Roads, Fallen Trees, Power Lines

Residents are advised that road conditions throughout the Town of Grant are extremely icy. In addition, ice accumulation on trees is causing a significant number of trees and branches to fall, creating hazardous conditions on roadways.

If you encounter a tree down on a roadway, please report it by:

Any trees in danger of falling on a power line should be reported directly to the appropriate power company.

Our Public Works crew is actively responding. Due to the high volume of incidents and for staff safety, please note that trees may be pushed aside temporarily before full removal can occur.

We urge all residents to use extreme caution when traveling and avoid unnecessary trips if possible.
