NOTICE: Monthly Town Board Meeting: Notice is hereby given that the Town of Grant Town Board will hold a meeting for the Town of Grant, in the County of Portage, State of Wisconsin, for the transaction of business permitted to be transacted at such meeting.  The meeting will be held at the Grant Town Hall, 9011 CTH WW, Wisconsin Rapids, WI on Wednesday, December 10th, 2025 at 6:00PM. The Agenda was amended to include Mertz Subdivision Pavement Boring Results.  The agenda can be found on the Agendas & Minutes page.

NOTICE: 2026 Proposed Budget Hearing & Special Meeting of the Electors

TOWN OF GRANT PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that on Thursday, December 4th, at 6:00 pm at the Grant Town Hall, 9011 County Hwy. WW, a PUBLIC HEARING on the 2026 PROPOSED BUDGET of the Town of Grant in Portage County will be held.  The proposed budget in detail is available for inspection by contacting the Town Clerk at 715-213-7370, clerk@townofgrant-portage.wi.gov, or Town Website Agendas & Minutes page.

 

NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF THE ELECTORS OF THE TOWN OF GRANT, PORTAGE COUNTY

Notice is hereby given that on Thursday December 4th immediately following completion of the Public Hearing on the proposed 2026 budget, which begins at 6:00 PM at the Town Hall of Grant, a special town meeting of the electors called pursuant to Section 60:12(1) ( c) of  Wisconsin Statutes by the town board for the following purposes will be held:

  1. To adopt the 2025 town tax levy to be paid in 2026 pursuant to Section 60:10(1) (a) of Wisconsin Statutes.
  2. Authorize the town board to hire town officers as employees of the town in an emergency and set an hourly wage pursuant to Sec. 60.10(1) (g) of Wisconsin Statutes.
